The Rockwell Aero Commander 500 crashed offshore Bimini Bahamas. The Richard L. Becker and TowBoatU.S. #6 responded to the crash site. TowBoatU.S. #6 towed the barge to the crash site; the Richard L. Becker was then secured alongside the barge. Salvage Divers were deployed to rig the aircraft with lifting straps and tag lines. Aircraft was lifted and recovered from water then secured onboard the Richard L. Becker in preparation for the transit back to the United States. Upon arrival back into the United States the aircraft was offloaded and taken to a storage facility.
Your guys did a great job on our charter at Port Canaveral. We had rough weather, major schedule changes, and other challenges, but never heard a single compliant. Adrian, Brendan, Tom, Ben, and Zach all were right on the spot when we needed the crane or captain or another boat movement. And the food... that was the best run of good food I think I've ever has in my life! Every single meal was both healthy and delicious.
