TowBoatU.S. Fort Lauderdale plans and execute tows from the Abacos, Nassau, and the Southern Bahamas on a regular basis, and we regularly undertake tows for vessels of all sizes from more distant ports as we strive to service our customers that need to get back to the U.S. for service. Indeed, we tow large motor yachts from as far as the Turks and Caicos, the Dominican Republic and beyond.
The crew at TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale takes great pride in ensuring that every detail is attended to, and our ultimate goal is your satisfaction and the safety of you and your boat. Management and crew work hard to identify favorable weather conditions for long-distance tows and this combined with proper preparation of our tugs and towing gear have helped us to perform hundreds of damage-free long distance tows.
Our 96' OSV Richard L. Becker is our primary long-distance towing vessel. She is equipped with the full compliment of towing hawsers, bridles, chafe protection, and other safety gear to insure the crew has the tools to safely and efficiently deal with challenges as they arise.
Our 46' Launch is also frequently used for long distance towing while our fleet of twin diesel tugs is called upon regularly for Bimini tows and tows up and down the coast of the Southeastern United States.
